New 2009 Vacation Guide from Haveltourist
Haveltourist's new 2009 camping vacation guide for the Mecklenburg Lake District has just been published. Nine camping sites are covered together with the Havelberge Camping and Holiday Resort with its 80 holiday houses, mobile homes and caravans for hire.

A new adventure playground for adults and young people is ready starting in the coming season for our guests.
The Havelberge forest ropes course consists of four different 'parcours', or obstacle courses.
Three of these courses can be tackled by the guests independently after a briefing with a safety harness consisting of a climbing belt and a Klettersteig set (metal fasteners, ropes etc.). In this part of the ropes course it's all about gaining experience on your own, overcoming fears, building self-confidence and naturally the pure fun of climbing.
The fourth course is reserved for teams and groups. In this one the participants are secured from the ground and the focus is on teamwork, confidence, communication and co-operation. More...
What really counts - sanitary camping facilities with class
Often before booking a camping site the sanitary facilities of that site are looked at carefully. Haveltourist can live well with this custom of many experienced camping friends. The appropriate buildings on its 9 camping sites
are thoroughly organised, bright and clean. The ADAC (General German Automobile Association) camping guide for example grades the facilities of the Drewensee camping site as "exceptional".

The romance of camping doesn't rust...
Our staff of many years fondly remember a married couple that set up their tent at the site. Both were already in their eighties, but they were looking for a tent pitch beside the restaurant, or right in the liveliest part of the resort. Cautious tips on perfectly quiet locations were turned down, in a friendly but firm manner. The big Havelberge Shows - a brilliant stage and hard work
There's often something happening on the Havelberge stage below the restaurant: Disco, Livebands and shows that members of the audience join in. But perhaps the best of all is the weekly gala evening of the entertainment troupe. If you take your vacation at Havelberge, this is something you really mustn't miss. A Chinese on the Woblitzsee - group enjoyment in a dragonboat.
The drum strikes the rhythm of the oars and Dennis intones the antiphony. The dragonboat speeds out onto the water. Once a year the team from the canoe centre puts on a special evening tour of the Woblitzsee for the Havelberge staff, who should finally try for themselves what they recommend for their guests. "I see my kids around here just before mealtimes. The whole day they're busy
around the place." The mother with this lament actually looks really quite relaxed and amused. With so many offers for every age group bored kids are rare, and the parents have a little time for themselves.
