From Leppinsee you can take superb canoe tours southwards, for here one lake leads into the next in a lovely chain. On the trail of "Sleeping Beauty" you can journey over "the sea-rose road" to the Duke's castle in Mirow. To the north there's a connection through the Woterfitzsee and Caarpsee, inside the national park, to Müritz. Passenger ships to and from Mirow stop at the site. Because of the newly built access road the site can be reached with great ease by motor homes. The modern sanitary block is fitted with a Laundrette and cooking facilities.
