Surrounded by forest, the camping site lies partly on a meadow and partly in a clearing right on Ziernsee, where motorboats are permitted. Ziernsee is the southernmost lake in the Mecklenburg section of the Lake District. Via the river Havel one can easily reach the Fürstenberg Lake District in Brandenburg and from there sail for example all the way to Berlin.
